AN ACT to amend section two of the Agricultural

Products Act, 1929.

[Assented to 18th October, 1940.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :--

Short title. 1.

This Act may be cited as the Agricultural Pro- ducts Act Amendment Act, 1940, and shall be read as one with the Agricultural Products Act, 1929 (No. 19 of 1929), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment	2. Section two of the principal Act is hereby (a) in the definition of "Agricultural Products" or "Products" by adding the following at the end of the said definition :—
of s. 2 of the

principal Act amended

" and in particular, and without limiting the

foregoing, fruit trees and fruit vines";

(b) in the definition of "lot" by adding the follow-

ing at the end of the said definition :—

" including fruit trees or vines, whether sold

singly or in quantities";

(c) in the definition of "package"—

(i)   by inserting after the word "sack" in

the first line of the said definition the word

"material";

(ii) by inserting after the word "contain- ing" in line three of the said definition the words "or wrapping."
