Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Chemicals (Variation of Registration

Fees) Regulations 1992.

Revocation

2. The regulations made under the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1955 on 15 January 1976

relating to fees (see Gazette 15 January 1976 p. 183), as varied, are revoked.

Interpretation

3. In these regulations—

"the Act" means the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1955.

Fee for registration—s. 12(7)(b)

4. The fee fixed by section 12(7)(b) of the Act is varied—

(a)	where the application is made in respect of an agricultural chemical that is a fertiliser or soil conditioner and that does not contain a pesticide—by increasing it to $90.00; and
(b)	in any other case—by removing the fee.

Fee for renewal of registration before 31 May—s. 18(2)(b)

5. The fee fixed by section 18(2)(b) of the Act is varied by increasing it to $90.00.

Fee for alteration of registered label or particulars—s. 19(2)

6. The fee fixed by section 19(2) of the Act is varied—

(a)	where the application is made in respect of an agricultural chemical that is a fertiliser or soil conditioner and that does not contain a pesticide—by increasing it to $90.00; and
(b)	in any other case—by removing the fee.
