Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1988.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 5 (Fees—application for clearance or variation)

3.1   Paragraph 5 (1) (a):

Omit “$20,000”, substitute “$10,000”.

3.2   Paragraph 5 (1) (b):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$500”.

3.3   Paragraph 5 (1) (c):

Omit “$250”, substitute “$300”.

3.4   Subparagraph 5 (2) (a) (i):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$500”.

3.5   Subparagraph 5 (2) (a) (ii):

Omit “$12,000”, substitute “$6,000”.

3.6   Paragraph 5 (2) (b):

Omit “$1,000”, substitute “$500”.

3.7   Paragraph 5 (2) (c):

Omit “$250”, substitute “$300”.

3.8   Paragraph 5 (4) (c):

Omit “Council”, substitute “NRA”.

3.9   Subparagraph 5 (5) (a) (i):

Omit $11,500”, substitute “$7,500”.

3.10   Subparagraph 5 (5) (a) (ii):

Omit $7,500”, substitute “$4,500”.

3.11   Paragraph 5 (5) (b):

Omit “Council”, substitute “NRA”.

3.12   Subregulation 5 (7):

Omit the subregulation.

3.13   Subregulation 5 (8):

Omit “Council”, substitute “NRA”.

4.   Regulation 6 (Fee—application for certificate in respect of exportation)
