Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Act 1992.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s 48.]

2.   New regulation 3A

2.1   After regulation 3, insert:

Export of chemical products—fees for certificates

 “3A.For subsection 69D (1) of the Act, the following fees are prescribed:

  • (a)

    for a certificate verified by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade:

    • (i)

      for the first certificate applied for by a particular person for a chemical product on a day—$120;

    • (ii)

      for another certificate applied for by the same person for the same chemical product on that day—$40;

  • (b)

    for any other certificate:

    • (i)

      for the first certificate applied for by a particular person for a chemical product on a day—$100;

    • (ii)

      for another certificate applied for by the same person for the same chemical product on that day—$20.”.
