AGENTS REGULATIONS

REGULATIONS 1 9 6 8 , No. 1 3 *

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agents Regulations.

2. The prescribed fee for the issue of a certificate of registration as an agent is Twenty dollars or, if, as a result of applications made by a person on the same date for registration as an agent in two or more capacities, two or more of the applications are granted, the prescribed fee payable for the issue of one of the certificates of registration is Twenty dollars and the prescribed fee payable for the issue of the other or each other certificate of registration is Ten dollars.

3 . — ( 1 . ) The prescribed fee for the issue to a person (other than a company) of a licence to carry on business as an agent is Twenty dollars or, if, as a result of applications made on the same date by a person (other than a company) for the issue of licences to carry on business as an agent in two or more capacities, licences to carry on business in two or more capacities are granted to the person, the prescribed fee payable by the person for the issue of one licence is Twenty dollars and the prescribed fee payable by the person for the issue of the other or each other licence is Ten dollars.

(2.) The prescribed fee for the issue to a company of a licence to carry on business as an agent is Thirty dollars or, if, as a result of applications made on the same date by a company for licences to carry on business as an agent in two or more capacities, licences to carry on business in two or more capacities are granted to the company, the prescribed fee payable by the company for the issue of one licence is Thirty dollars and the prescribed fee payable by the company for the grant of the other or each other licence is Fifteen dollars.

4.—(1.) The annual fee payable by a person (other than a company) who is

the holder of a licence or licences to carry on business as an agent is Ten dollars
in respect of each licence held by the person.

(2.) The annual fee payable by a company which is the holder of a licence or licences to carry on business as an agent is Fifteen dollars in respect of each licence held by the company.

(3.) The annual fees referred to in this regulation are payable by the holder of a licence on or before the anniversary of the date on which the licence was issued.

5 . The prescribed fee for the purposes of sub-section (11 . ) of section 93 of the Agents Ordinance 1968 is Twenty-five cents per page.
