t ime to t ime by t h e Speaker of t h e Legis la t ive Counci l of t h e said Colony in pu r suance of any Reso lu t ions of t h e Commit tee of Corres­ pondence of t h e said Council Re it enacted by H i s Excel lency the Governor of New South W a l e s wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legislative Counci l thereof Tha t t h e Honorab l e Francis Scott shall be and he is he reby appointed to be A g e n t for t he Colony of N e w South Wales for t h e per iod of th ree years from t h e da te of t he pass ing of
