This instrument is the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Consequential Amendments) Rules 2018.

    Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the following:

  1. (a)

    section 96‑1 of the Aged Care Act 1997;

  2. (b)

    section 96‑1 of the Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Act 1997;

  3. (c)

    the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018.

4Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Division 3Transitional provision relating to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Consequential Amendments) Rules 2018

32Transitional provision in relation to flexible care agreements

Subsection 23AG(3) of these principles, as amended by Schedule 1 to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Consequential Amendments) Rules 2018, applies in relation to a flexible care agreement in respect of short‑term restorative care entered into on or after 1 January 2019.
