1Name

This instrument is the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Amendment (Administrative Review Tribunal) Rules 2024.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under section 77 of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018.

Schedule 1Amendments

Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Rules 2018

1 Amendments of listed provisions–Administrative Review Tribunal

Omit “Administrative Appeals Tribunal” (wherever occurring) and substitute “Administrative Review Tribunal” in the following provisions:

(a) section 96;

(b) subsection 103(1);

(c) subsection 104(2);

(d) subsection 104(3).

2 Amendments of listed provisions–Section 266 of the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024

Omit “Section 27A of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975” (wherever occurring) and substitute “Section 266 of the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024” in the following provisions:

(a) subsection 101(3) (note);

(b) subsection 102(4) (note).

3 Section 103 (heading)

Omit “Administrative Appeals Tribunal”, substitute “Administrative Review Tribunal”.

4 Subsection 103(3)

Omit “subsection 27(1) of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975”, substitute “section 17 of the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024”.
