Part 1                 Preliminary

  1. Name of Determination

(1)            This Determination is the Aged Care (Flexible care subsidy - innovative care services provided by specified approved providers) Determination 2008

(2)            This Determination may also be known as (ACA Ch. 3 No. 12/2008).

  1. Commencement

This Determination commences on 1 July 2008.

  1. Revocation

(1)            The Determination of the amount of flexible care subsidy under section   52-1 made by the Minister on 26 June 2007 (ACA Ch. 3 No. 22/2007) is revoked.

(2)           The Determination of amount of flexible care subsidy under section 52-1 for the UnitingCare Cumberland Prospect Disability Aged Care Innovative Pool pilot and the Northern Sydney Disability Aged Care pilot in New South Wales made by the Minister on 4 August 2004 (ACA Ch. 3. 21/2004) is revoked.

Part 2                 Care recipients receiving flexible care

  1. Application of Determination

This Determination applies to a care recipient receiving innovative care services of a kind defined in section 15.24 of the Flexible Care Subsidy Principles 1997 provided by an approved provider listed in Column 1 of the table in Schedule 1. 

  1. Amount of flexible care subsidy

The flexible care subsidy for a day for a care recipient is the amount mentioned in Column 2 of the table in Schedule 1.
