I, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 1 of the table in subsection 2(1) of the Aged Care Amendment (Independent Complaints Arrangements) Act 2015, fix 1 January 2016 as the day on which that Act commences.
