Determination of amount of flexible care subsidy under section 52-1 for

Retirement Villages Care Pilot

I, SANTO SANTORO, Minister for Ageing, acting under paragraph 52-1(1)(a) and subsection 52-1(2) of the Aged Care Act 1997, REVOKE, immediately before 1 July 2006, Determination ACA Ch.3 No.16 /2005 and DETERMINE that the amount of FLEXIBLE CARE SUBSIDY payable in respect of a day and based on the following matters is as set out below:

For the kinds of care specified in sub-section 15.24(1)(b) of the Flexible Care Subsidy Principles 1997, where this is in accordance with the joint initiative between the Department of Health and Ageing and the approved providers, in respect of the Retirement Villages Care Pilot, the rate of Flexible Care Subsidy, commencing on 1 July 2006 or thereafter, is $33.30 per low care place per day and $111.32 per high care place per day.
