Determination of amount of flexible care subsidy under section 52-1 for

Intermittent Care Services

I, JULIE BISHOP, Minister for Ageing, acting under paragraph 52-1(1)(a) and subsection 52-1(2) of the Aged Care Act 1997, REVOKE, immediately before 1 July 2005 Determination ACA Ch.3 No. 20/2004 and, DETERMINE that the amount of FLEXIBLE CARE SUBSIDY payable in respect of a day and based on the following matters is as set out below:

For the kind of care specified in paragraph 15.24(e) of the Flexible Care Subsidy Principles 1997, where this is in accordance with the joint initiative between the Department of Health and Ageing and a State or Territory Government, known as Intermittent Care Services, the rate of Flexible Care Subsidy per place per day commencing 1 July 2005 or thereafter is $88.64 per place per day in a residential setting and $71.46 per place per day in a community setting.
