STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR INTERLOCUTORY DECISION
8 March 2000 Mr C P Webster (Senior Member)
This is a statement of reasons pursuant to s.43(2A) of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975 in respect of a stay order made on 12 January 2000.
This is an application made by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to revoke the order made in this matter on 12 January 2000. On 12 January 2000 the Tribunal considered an application for a stay and reasons were given by the Tribunal granting the stay.
Further matters were placed before the Tribunal by CASA.
I considered those matters and was not convinced that the matters raised are such that I should revoke the stay order made on 12 January 2000.
If those matters were raised at the time the Tribunal made its original stay order, the Tribunal would still have granted the stay order.
The Tribunal repeats its reasons given for the earlier decision to grant a stay.
The Tribunal dismissed the application by the respondent to revoke the stay order dated 12 January 2000.
I certify that the 7 preceding paragraphs are a true copy of the reasons for the decision herein ofMr C P Webster (Senior Member)
