AERODROMES ACT REPEAL act 2002

An Act to repeal the Aerodromes Act

1Short title

This Act may be cited as the Aerodromes Act Repeal Act 2002.

2Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the date fixed by the Administrator by notice in the Gazette.

3Repeal

The Aerodromes Act 1993 (Act No. 32 of 1993) and the Aerodromes Amendment Act 1997 (Act No. 3 of 1997) are repealed.

4Saving of contracts

• (1)

  In this section:

  contract means a contract, lease, licence or authority referred to in section 6(2) of the repealed Act.

  repealed Act means the Aerodromes Act as in force immediately before the commencement of this Act.

• (2)

  On the commencement of this Act, any contract in force immediately before the commencement continues in force and has effect in accordance with the terms of that contract.
