ADVANCE TO THE FINANCE MINISTER – SECTION 13 OF APPROPRIATION ACT (No. 2) 2006-2007

I, Brett Kaufmann, Acting Division Manager, Financial Reporting and Cash Management Division, Financial Management Group, Department of Finance and Administration, pursuant to Section 13 of Appropriation Act (No.2) 2006-2007, hereby determine that the appropriation item listed in Column 1 for the entity listed in Column 2 be increased by the amount listed in Column 3.  The additional amount is provided to meet increased payments to the Queensland government under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements programme.  These payments are in relation to several natural disaster events, with the majority of funding related to tropical cyclones Larry and Monica.
