ADVANCE TO THE FINANCE MINISTER – SECTION 12 OF APPROPRIATION ACT (No. 1) 2006-2007

I, Brett Kaufmann, Acting Division Manager, Financial Reporting and Cash Management Division, Financial Management Group, Department of Finance and Administration, pursuant to Section 12 of Appropriation Act (No.1) 2006-2007, hereby determine that the appropriation item listed in Column 1 for the agency listed in Column 2 be increased by the amount listed in Column 3.  The additional amount is provided to meet an increase in Australia’s contributions to the United Nations’ Regular Budget and Capital Master Plan for 2007, as well as increased costs associated with Peacekeeping Operations.
