ADVANCE TO THE FINANCE MINISTER – SECTION 11 OF APPROPRIATION ACT (No. 1) 2007-2008

I, Brett Kaufmann, Acting Division Manager, Financial Reporting and Cash Management Division, Financial Management Group, Department of Finance and Administration, pursuant to Section 11 of Appropriation Act (No.1) 2007-2008, hereby determine that the appropriation item listed in Column 1 for the entity listed in Column 2 be increased by the amount listed in Column 3.  The additional amount is required to make ex gratia payments to those eligible non-dependants of Australian Defence Force personnel and Australian police force members (including Australian Protective Service Officers) killed in the line of duty over the period from 1 January 1999 to 30 June 2007.
