AN ACT to amend the Adoption of Children

Act, 1896-1959.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Adoption

of Children Act Amendment Act, 1962.

2. Section seven of the principal Act is m ended.

amended

(a)	by adding, after the word, "child" in line one of the proviso, the words, "or the issue of that child"; and
(b)	by adding, after the word, "child" in line three of paragraph (1) of the proviso, the words, "or remoter issue".
