AN ACT to amend the Adoption of Children Act, 1896-
1921.
[Assented to 30th January, 1946.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—
Short title.
This Act may be cited as the Adoption of Children Act Amendment Act, 1945, and shall be read as one with the Adoption of Children Act, 1896-1921 (No. 6 of 1896 as reprinted pursuant to the Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938, in Volume 2 of The Reprinted Acts of the Par- liament of Western Australia, 1943), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Australia or in any territory of the Commonwealth of Australia is received in pursuance of an arrange- ment made under subsection (1) of this section it shall be filed in the Supreme Court and shall there- upon be dealt with as if it were an order of adoption made in Western Australia.
