Adoption Amendment Rules 2003

Made by the Judges of the Family Court of Western Australia under section 142 of the Act.

1.            Citation

These rules may be cited as the Adoption Amendment Rules
2003.

2.            The rules amended

The amendments in these rules are to the Adoption Rules 1995* .

3.            Rule 5 amended

Rule 5(2)(c) is amended by deleting the full stop after "that person".

4.            Rule 9 amended

(1) Rule 9 is amended in the Table after the item relating to
section 63 by inserting the following item -

section 68(1)(fa)	for a determination that a child's adoption by a step-parent is preferable to the making of an order referred to in
that provision

(2) Rule 9 is amended in the Table after the item relating to
section 83(4) by inserting the following item -

44

section 84(4)	for a copy of a report under section 61 or a report from a representative of a child submitted to the Court in relation
to the child's adoption

5.            Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended in Form 5 by deleting "an" and inserting instead —

" the ".
