FURTHER AMENDMENT ACT 1998 No 156—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Legislation Further Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation. appoint 1 January 1999 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (except Schedule 1 [21]-[24] and Schedule 3) commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Legislation Further Amendment Act 1998 except for:

(a)

certain provisions amending the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997 that relate to the establishment of an Occupational Regulation Division of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal and the allocation of functions to the division (Schedule 1 [21]-[24]), and

(b)

certain provisions that would confer jurisdiction on the Administrative Decisions Tribunal to review decisions made under the Animal Research Act 1985 (Schedule 3)
