I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Legislation Amendment Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 1999 as the day on which Schedule 2.6, 2.7, 2.8 and 2.21 to that Act commence.

The object of this proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Administrative
Decisions Tribunal Legislation Amendment Act 1998 that confer jurisdiction on the
Administrative Decisions Tribunal to review certain decisions made under the following
Acts and Regulation:
| (a) | the Firearms Act 1996 and Firearms (General) Regulation 1997 (Schedule 2.6 and 2.7), |
| (b) | the Forestry Act 1916 (Schedule 2.8), |
| (c) | the Timber Marketing Act 1977 (Schedule 2.21). |
