His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to exempt certain decisions of the Director-General of the Department of Fair Trading made under section 64A of the Fair Trading Act 1987 from the application of the internal review provisions of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997.

This Regulation is made under the Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997, including sections 53 (11) (b) and 145 (the general regulation-making power).

2 Amendment of Administrative Decisions Tribunal (General) Regulation 1998

The Administrative Decisions Tribunal (General) Regulation 1998 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Clause 6A Reviewable decisions excluded from internal review under section 53 of the Act

Insert after clause 6A (g):

(h)

a decision referred to in section 64A (8) of the Fair Trading Act 1987.
