Administrative Act 997 No 77—PROCLA legislation Amendment Proclamation
(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Administrative Decisions Legislation Amendment Act 1997, do. by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 1999 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence, except for the following:
(a) Schedule 1 .10, (b) Schedule 1.11, (c)
Schedule 2.1 [3] and so much of Schedule 2.1 [5] as omits sections 97, 98, 100, 101A, 109 and 112 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977,
(d) Schedule 5.2, 5.3, 5.7, 5.8, 5.12, 5.13, 5.14, 5.17, 5.20, 5.23 and 5.27. Signed and sealed at Sydney, this 23rd day of December 1998.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Administrative Decisions Legislation Amendment Act 1997 except for those provisions that would confer jurisdiction on the Administrative Decisions Tribunal to review decisions made under the following Acts:
(a) the Guardianship Act 1987 (Schedule 1.10), (b) the Home Care Service Act 1988 (Schedule 1.11), ( c ) the Animal Research Act 1985 (Schedule 5 . 2 ) , (d) the Apiaries Act 1985 (Schedule 5.3). ( e ) the Dairy Industry Act 1979 (Schedule 5.7), (f) the Dog Act 1966 (Schedule 5.8). Published in Gazette No 178 of 24 December 1998, page 9946 Page 1

| (g) | the Fertilizers Act 1985 (Schedule 5.12), |
| ( h ) | the Firearms Act 1996 (Schedule 5.13). |
( i ) the Fisheries Management Act 1994 (Schedule 5.14),
| ( j ) | the Horticultural Stock and Nurseries Act 1969 (Schedule 5 .17) , |
| ( k ) | the Non-Indigenous Animals Act 1987 (Schedule 5.20), |
the Plant Diseases Act 1924 (Schedule 5.23),
| (m) | the Stock (Artificial Breeding) Act 1985 (Schedule 5.27). |
The Proclamation also does not commence certain amendments to the
Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 relating to the powers and procedure of the Tribunal
(Schedule 2.1 [ 3 ] and part of Schedule 2.1 [ 5 ] ) .
