I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Administrative Changes Act 1976, make the Order set out hereunder.

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Administrative Changes

(Transport) Order 1990.

Commencement

2. This Order takes effect on 29 January 1990.

Construction of references to Minis try of Transport

3. In any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, a reference to the Ministry of Transport is to be construed as a reference to the Department of Transport.

Construction of references to Secretary of Ministry of Transport

4. In any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, a reference to the Secretary of the Ministry of Transport is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Transport.
