ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES ACT 1976 - ORDER
NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Administrative Changes Act 1976, make the Order set out hereunder.

PART 1 - PRELIMINARY
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Administrative Changes (General) Order 1990.
Definition
2. In this Order, "document" means an Act or statutory instrument, or any other instrument, or any contract or agreement.

PART 2 - MINISTERS
Construction of references to Minister for Education and Youth
Affairs3. (1) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for School Education and Youth Affairs, except as provided by subclause (2).
(2) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Further Education, Training and Employment, if the reference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the latter Minister.
Construction of certain references to Minister for Transport
4. In any document, a reference to the Minister for Transport is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Roads, if the reference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the latter Minister.
Construction of references to Minister for Industrial Relations and
Employment
5. (1) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Industrial
Relations and Employment is to be construed as a reference to the
Minister for Industrial Relations, except as provided by subclause (2).
(2) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Industrial
Relations and Employment is to be construed as a reference to the
Minister for Further Education, Training and Employment, if thereference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the
latter Minister.
Construction of references to Minister for Natural Resources
6. (1) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Natural Resources is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Lands and Forests, except as provided by subclause (2).
(2) In any document, a reference to the Minister for Natural Resources is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Water Resources, if the reference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the latter Minister.
