Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2006

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4(1) of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .6 February 2006

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2006 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 20 February 2006. 3InterpretationThe Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were by-laws. 4Principal OrderIn this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order 2005 is referred to as the Principal Order. 5Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Departments and Enactments) Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows: (a) by omitting

Mental Health Act 1996

in so far as it relates to the appointment, functions and operation of the Mental Health Tribunal and the appointment of the registrar and other officers of that Tribunal (otherwise see Department of Health and Human Services under the Minister for Health and Human Services)

from Part 3 and substituting the following item:

Mental Health Act 1996

in so far as it relates to the appointment, functions and operation of the Mental Health Tribunal and the appointment of the registrar and other officers of that Tribunal, and the appointment, functions and operation (including the provision of staff, assistance, resources and facilities) of the Forensic Tribunal (otherwise see Department of Health and Human Services under the Minister for Health and Human Services)

(b) by omitting

Mental Health Act 1996

except in so far as it relates to the appointment, functions and operation of the Mental Health Tribunal and the appointment of the registrar and other officers of that Tribunal (see Department of Justice under the Minister for Justice and Industrial Relations)

from Part 8 and substituting the following item:

Mental Health Act 1996

except in so far as it relates to the appointment, functions and operation of the Mental Health Tribunal and the appointment of the registrar and other officers of that Tribunal, and the appointment, functions and operation (including the provision of staff, assistance, resources and facilities) of the Forensic Tribunal (see Department of Justice under the Minister for Justice and Industrial Relations)
