1 Name of Order
This Order is the Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—Transfer
of Soil Conservation Staff) Order 2017.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on 1 October 2017 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
3 Transfer of soil conservation staff to Local Land Services Staff Agency
(1) The persons who are employed in the Department of Industry primarily to enable the Soil Conservation Commissioner to exercise the Commissioner’s functions are transferred to the Local Land Services Staff Agency. (2) A reference, in any Act or statutory or other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, to the Department of Industry is, if the reference is used in relation to the group of staff referred to in subclause (1), to be construed as a reference to the Local Land Services Staff Agency. (3) This clause does not apply in relation to the person who, immediately before the commencement of this Order, was employed in the Department of Industry as the Soil Conservation Commissioner.
