State Archives and Subsidence Advisory NSW) Order 2018

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—NSW
State Archives and Subsidence Advisory NSW) Order 2018.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Transfer of NSW State Archives staff to Department of Planning and Environment

The persons who are employed in the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation to enable the State Archives and Records Authority to exercise its functions are transferred from that Department to the Department of Planning and Environment.

4      Abolition of Subsidence Advisory NSW as Public Service executive agency

(1)	The persons employed in Subsidence Advisory NSW are transferred to the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.
(2)	Subsidence Advisory NSW is abolished as a Public Service executive agency.

5 Construction of certain references in Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation Act 2017

A reference in section 36 (a) or 52 (2) (a) of the Coal Mine Subsidence Compensation
Act 2017 to Subsidence Advisory NSW is to be construed as a reference to the
Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.

6 Amendment of Schedule 1 to Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (Public Service agencies)

Part 2 Executive agencies related to Departments

Omit the matter relating to Subsidence Advisory NSW.
