Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—
Ministers) Order 2015

1 Name of Order
This Order is the Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—
Ministers) Order 2015.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on 2 April 2015 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Definitions
In this Order:
document means any Act or statutory or other instrument, or any contract or
agreement.
reference to a Minister includes a reference that (by or under any Act) is to be
construed or treated as a reference to that Minister.
4 Construction of references to Minister for Citizenship and Communities
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Citizenship and Communities is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Multiculturalism.
5 Construction of certain references to Minister for Education
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Education is to be construed:
(a) as a reference to the Minister for Early Childhood Education if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister, or (b) as a reference to the Minister for Skills if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister.
6 Construction of references to Minister for Fair Trading
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Fair Trading is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation.
7 Construction of references to Minister for Finance and Services
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Finance and Services is to be construed:
(a)
as a reference to the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister, or
(b)
in any other case, as a reference to the Minister for Finance, Services and Property.
8 Construction of references to Minister for Hospitality, Gaming and Racing
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Hospitality, Gaming and Racing is to be construed:
(a) as a reference to the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister, or (b) in any other case, as a reference to the Minister for Racing.
9 Construction of references to Minister for Infrastructure
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Infrastructure is to be construed:
(a) as a reference to the Premier if used in or in relation to legislation administered by the Premier, or (b) in any other case, as a reference to the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure.
10 Construction of references to Minister for Justice
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Justice is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Corrections.
11 Construction of references to Minister for Natural Resources, Lands and Water
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Natural Resources, Lands and Water is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Lands and Water.
12 Construction of references to Minister for Police and Emergency Services
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to be construed:
(a) as a reference to the Minister for Justice and Police if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister, or (b) as a reference to the Minister for Emergency Services if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister.
13 Construction of references to Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Regional Development.
14 Construction of references to Minister for Regional Tourism
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Regional Tourism is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events.
15 Construction of references to Minister for Resources and Energy
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Resources and Energy is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Industry, Resources and Energy.
16 Construction of references to Minister for Roads and Freight
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Roads and Freight is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight.
17 Construction of references to Minister for Sport and Recreation
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Sport and Recreation is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Sport.
18 Construction of references to Minister for Trade and Investment
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Trade and Investment is to be construed:
(a) as a reference to the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation if used in or in relation to legislation administered by that Minister, or (b) in any other case, as a reference to the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events.
19 Construction of references to Minister for Transport
In any document, a reference to the Minister for Transport is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure.
