Appear) Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the form of summons to appear to ensure the attendance of witnesses on later days than the day a proceeding is first listed for hearing.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 66 of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1984.

3. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Administrative Appeals
Tribunal Regulations 19951 are called the
Principal Regulations.

Regulations 1997

r. 4 S.R. No. 45/1997

4. Amendment to Form 11

In Form 11 to the Principal Regulations for
" on 19 at a.m./p.m.
and on each subsequent day of the hearing of the
abovementioned proceeding until you are excused
or released from further attendance"
substitute—
" [address of Tribunal]
at a.m./p.m. on [date], or, if notice of a later day
is given to you by the [identify party seeking the
attendance of the person summoned] or by the
solicitor for that party, the later day, and until you

are excused from further attending".
