(Amendment) Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the
Treasurer, the Minister administering the Accident
Compensation Act 1985 and the Minister administering the

Subdivision Act 1988, makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees payable in respect of certain applications to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 66 of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1984.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
1 January 1998.

4. Amendment of regulation 5

In regulation 5 of the Administrative Appeals

Tribunal (Fees) Regulations 19931—

(a)

in sub-regulation (1) for "$165" substitute "$170";

(b)

in sub-regulation (2) for "$165" substitute "$170";

(c)

in sub-regulation (3) for "$22" substitute "$23";

(d)

in sub-regulation (4) for "$165" substitute "$170";

(e)

in sub-regulation (5) for "$52" substitute "$55";

(f)

in sub-regulation (6) for "$165" substitute "$170".
