An Ordinance to amend the Administration and Probate Ordinance 1929

Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

ADMINISTRATION AND PROBATE ( A M E N D M E N T )
O R D I N A N C E 1980

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration and Probate

(Amendment) Ordinance 1980.1

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Administration

and Probate Ordinance 1929.2

5. Part X of the Principal Ordinance is repealed.

Commencement

3. This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by the

Minister of State for the Capital Territory by notice in the Gazette.

4. Section 125B of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting "pay­ able to the Registrar under this Ordinance" and substituting, "payable in ac­ cordance with the Schedule to the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court (Fees) Regulations, as in force from time to time under the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court Act 1933.".

Repeal of Third Schedule

6. The Third Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is repealed.
