AN ORDINANCE

To Amend the Administration and Probate

Ordinance 1929-1933.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Federal Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the by the Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of
Government (Administration) Act 1910-1931, as follows:—

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration short title

and Probate Ordinance 1934. " d citRtion
(2.) The Administration and Probate Ordinance 1929-1933 is

in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,

may be cited as the Administration and Probate Ordinance 1929-

1934.

2. Section five of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Definition*,

inserting after the definition of the word " Rules " the following
definition:—

" ' the Seal of the Court ' means the seal referred to in section one hundred and twenty-nine A of this Ordinance.".

3. After section one hundred and twenty-nine of the Principal

Ordinance the following section is inserted:—

"129A.—(1. ) The Court shall have a seal for use in its seaioitna

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at
Administration and Probate jurisdiction. Court'

(2.) The seal shall have inscribed thereon the words ' Supreme

Court—Australian Capital Territory—Probate Jurisdiction '.

(3.) The seal shall be kept in the custody of the Registrar,

Acting Registrar or Deputy Registrar.".
