AN ACT to amend the Administration Act 1903-1980.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Administra-	Short title

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Administration Act 1903-1982.

Commence-

ment. 2. This Act shall come into operation on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.

Section 14

amended. 3. Section 14 of the principal Act is amended

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting ", after the coming into operation of section four of the Administration Act Amendment Act 1976,";

(b) in the Table to subsection (1)—

in item 2, by deleting "thirty

(i)  thousand dollars" wherever it occurs

and substituting the following-

" $50 000 " ; and

in item 3, by deleting "forty-five thousand dollars" wherever it occurs and substituting the following-

" $75 000 " ;

(c) in subsection (4)-

(i)   in paragraph (a) by deleting "thirty thousand dollars" and substituting the following-

" $50 000 " ; and

(ii)   in paragraph (b) by deleting "forty- five thousand dollars" and substitut- ing the following-

" $75 000 " ; and

(d) by inserting after subsection (7) the following subsections

C' (8) Subject to subsection (9) of this

section, this section shall apply to the estates of all persons who die on or after 1 March 1977.

(9) The amendments effected by section 3 of the Administration Amendment Act 1982 shall apply to the estates of all persons who die on or after the coming into operation of that section. " .
