that all property, real and personal, d

whatever mture, heretofore acquired by and belonging to the Mayor and Corporation of the City of Adelaide, sllall vest in Her

Majesty, her Ileirs and Successors, by force of this Ordinance.

111. Axn BE IT ENACTED,

that it sllall be lawful for the Goveruar

, to liquidate out of the public general revenues of the Province,

S not aberwise specially appropriated, all the just debts and claim

which, ohcr due examination and audit, have been made clearly to appear to have been fairly incurred and due by the said Corporatios, and to be properly payable under the authority of this Ordioance, amounting in the whole to the sum of One thousand and ninety. eight pounds, nine shillings and four pence, acc~rding to the report of the Auditor General thereon.

ENACTED,

that nothing

herein contained si~all be taken to relieve from responsibility t h e said Corporntiun. or any parties who- may have become liable for or in respect of ally debts or engagFments remaining to be liquidated, or not fully satisfied under t b ~ s Ordinance. And that

all liabilities, real or personal, by which any property or any

:persons may be bound in respect of such last mentioned debt6 and

'engagements shall continue the same as if this Ordinance had

uot been passed.
