An Act to enable the Coyoration of

Adelaide to lease a portion of

North Park Lands for a Cricket Ground.

HEREAS it is desirable to enable the Corporation of the pr,d,

City of Adelaide to lease s portion of the Park Lands as a

Cricket Ground-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province,

in this present Parliament assembled, as fohows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Adelaide may lease, to three Power to

years, a convenient portion, not exceeding twelve acres, of the an a cricket ground.

North Park Lands, to be held by such trustees upon trust to appropriate and maintaiu the sank? as and for a central cricket ground, upon and subject to such tcrnis and conditions, and with

such powers as to the erection of booths on such ground during the time the same m'ay be used for cricketiag purposes, and for

admissiou to any grand sland to be erected thereon, and also for the admission of or refusal of admission to any persons, horses, or other animals, or any vehicles to such portion of the Park Lands when so leased as aforesaid, as to the said Corporation may seem fit, with power to appoint new trustees as occasion may arise, and

to insert in any such lease any other clauses, powers, provisions,

or limitations as may be considered necessary for the management

or maintenance of the said cricket ground.
