An Act to impose Additional Income Tax.

E it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Ans-

and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parlia-

B tralia, with the advice and conscut of the 1,egislative Council

ment assembled, as follows, that is to say:

1. This Act may be cited as " The Additional lncome Tax Act, Short title.

1893," and shall be incorporated and read with

The Taxation Act,

1884.''

In addition to the income tax imposed and payable under Increase of income

and by virtue of

The Taxation Act, 1884," a further tax is tax.

hereby imposed upon the taxable amount nf such income arising or accruing in or derived from South Australia during the year ending on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, at the following rates-

I. On all income during the said year derived from personal

exertion, Three Pence for every Pound sterling of the

taxable amount thereof:

11. On all income during the said year consisting of the produce

of property, at the rate of Six Pence for every Pound

sterling of the taxable amount thereof.
