AD/Turmo/2 Oil Scavenge Hose Life Limitation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/TURMO/2.

AD/TURMO/2 Oil Scavenge Hose - Life Limitation 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1971 against Turbomeca Service Letter (SL)
No. 196/70/35 and AD/TURBO-T/4 published the life limits of flexible hoses for the lubrication of the gas generator rear bearing.

Compliance was:  As detailed in the requirement document.

The requirements for life limitations of turbine engine components are contained in AD/ENG/7; therefore this AD is no longer required.
