AD/TB10/37 Engine and Nose Landing Gear Mounts (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Applicability: | Model TB 9 and TB 10 aircraft, all serial numbers. |
Requirement: | Update the Aircraft Maintenance Manual by incorporating EADS Socata TB 9 Maintenance Manual Chapter 4 Revision 18 or EADS Socata TB 10 Maintenance Manual Chapter 4 Revision 18, as applicable. Modify the operator’s maintenance program accordingly to comply with all limitations from the Airworthiness Limitations Section of the respective Maintenance Manual Chapter 4. Note: EASA AD 2007-0034 refers. |
Compliance: | From the effective date of this Directive. |

Background: | The EASA requires introduction of the new 10,000 flight hour life limit for engine and nose landing gear mounts into the operator’s maintenance program. |
