AD/SWSA226/93 Rudder Gust Lock Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/93.

Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226 and SA227 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SWSA226/93 Rudder Gust Lock 2/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.
Background:	This AD placed a life limit on the gust lock assembly following the in-flight engagement of the rudder gust lock.  The manufacturer has published the life limits for the gust lock assembly in Chapter 05 of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual; therefore the requirements of this AD are no longer required.
