AD/SWSA226/6 Trim Tab Actuator Rods Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/6.

Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226 and SA227 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SWSA226/6 Trim Tab Actuator Rods - Inspection 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, originally raised in 1983, required approved systems of maintenance for
SA 226 and SA 227 series aeroplanes to include all the relevant inspections and life limitations specified in the applicable Fairchild Swearingen Corporation Manuals: "Inspection Schedule and Retirement Lives for Life Limited Components".

Compliance was required forthwith.

As the requirements of this AD are covered by other legal requirements, this AD is no longer required.
