AD/SWSA226/45 Battery Power Cable Inspection/Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/45.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD raised in 1983 against Fairchild Aircraft Corporation Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. 24-019 and 24-020 required an inspection for chaffing of electrical cables and modifications.

Compliance was:  Unless modified in accordance with SB 24-020 inspect for clearance in accordance with SB 234-019 within 100 hours TIS after 30 April 1983 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 500 hours TIS.

The requirements for this AD are promulgated in AD/SWSA226/96; therefore this AD is cancelled.
