AD/SWSA226/39 Main Landing Gear Door Actuating Mechanism Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/39.

AD/SWSA226/39 Main Landing Gear Door Actuating Mechanism - Modification 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1982 against Fairchild Swearingen Service Bulletin Alert (SBA) SBA 32-003, required a modification to ensure proper operation of MLG door mechanism.  Compliance was required within 10 hours TIS after 31 January 1982.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
