AD/SWSA226/35 Aileron Static Rebalance Incorporation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/35.

Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226 and SA227 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SWSA226/35 Aileron Static Rebalance - Incorporation 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1984 against Fairchild Swearingen Service Bulletin (SB) 27-030, required the rebalancing of the ailerons.  Compliance was required within 50 hours TIS after 31 October 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have has their ailerons rebalanced long ago, this AD is no longer required.
