Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226 and SA227 Series Aeroplanes

AD/SWSA226/27 Wing Main Spar - Inspection
for Manufacturing Defects
6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1979 against Swearingen Service Bulletin (SB) SB 57-015, required a Radiographic inspection of the wing main spar for double-drilled figure-of-eight holes or other defects in the W.S.99 and W.S.81 areas.  Compliance was required within 300 hours TIS after 30 June 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, repaired long ago, this AD is no longer required.
