AD/SWSA226/15 Main Landing Gear Door Hinge Angles Inspection and Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/15.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1973 against Swearingen Service Bulletin (SB) 52-80-3041, required an inspection for cracking in the angles attaching the aft main gear door hinges to the door.  Compliance was required within 300 hours TIS after
31 December 1973, or by 1 April 1974, whichever occurred first.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
