AD/SWSA226/13 Aileron Tab Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SWSA226/13.

AD/SWSA226/13 Aileron Tab - Inspection and Modification 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1973 against Swearingen Service Bulletin (SB) 27-10-3046, required an inspection of the aileron to tab gap, and where necessary, adjustment of the gap to within acceptable limits.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
