AD/SUPP/6 Air Equipment Hoists Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SUPP/6.

AD/SUPP/6 Air Equipment Hoists 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1985 against Aerospatiale Telexes 807 and 848 (AHC No. 046) requiring a modification of Air Equipment hoist P/No. 76375, 76375-02, and 76375-100 to prevent a failure of the up and down slow down function of the hoist.  Compliance was required prior to further use of an affected hoist.

As all affected hoists would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
