AD/SUPP/2 Amdt 1 Breeze Hoists Deactivation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/SUPP/2 Amdt 1.

AD/SUPP/2 Amdt 1 Breeze Hoists - Deactivation 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1981 requiring the deactivation of all Breeze Hoists not modified in accordance with AD/SUPP/3 because a number of uncommanded hoist cable cuts had occurred.  Compliance was required before further flight after 29 April 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
